Central Texas Leadership Training for Christ (CTLTC) has only one goal … help our young people strengthen their faith, deepen their commitment and express their love as they worship and honor God.

Experience, wisdom and faith has revealed one of the best platforms to accomplish this goal is through activities. This allows our participants to have a goal to achieve as they wrestle with the best way to voice that faith through different events.

We want our young people to know why they believe. We want them to know how they can communicate that faith in ways that are relevant and accepted in the world where they live.

We believe every participant should be evaluated based on their own merit. Not what the boy or girl or group before them did … evaluated on how they choose to display their interpretation of the theme selected each year.

We believe this display should be recognized based on its effectiveness, authenticity and effort. So, we decided years ago to award one of four levels of recognition (i.e. gold, silver, bronze and participant). We want every child to receive a fair and just recognition.

However, we don’t want to lose sight of our goal … our convention is not about giving out awards or growing crowds. It is about providing an avenue so our young people, your young people, can proudly and lovingly honor God.
